HOW TO WALK TO THE BUS STOP

HOW TO RIDE ON A BUS

How?

Hairy Bob's Skate Park is easy to find.
It sits below the castle, in the north bay, right next to the ocean. It's free to get into, floodlit, and open all the time, although we would suggest that if your there at stupid o'clock, you let someone know, safety first :)

The park is also really noticable, it's not hidden away, so you wont have to pay that much attention to see it.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION

If you're on foot, having just got off the train, the quickest and cheapest way is probably to walk down to the spa bridge and take one of the open top buses (only about £1), which follows all the way around marine drive to the corner cafe. Hairy Bob's is located at the start of the long straight once you get round the tip of the headland on the left (the sea is on the right)

ON FOOT

You can probably walk from the train station to Hairy Bobs in about 20 minutes, 10 mins or so on a board or bike. The most direct route from the station would be to head down Westborough into town (where the shops are). Straight after HMV turn left and follow that road. Turn right, and you should pass a Domino's Pizza place and Tesco Express. This road is called Castle Road, you can then turn left before the Kam Sang Chinese Restaurant, past the fire station, and then take the 2nd right. You should find yourself at the cliff top, from where you can make your way down North Bay to the park.

BY CAR
Just head for the sea or castle once your in Scarborough, either North or South bay, with the destination being the headland (north bay side). The castle is pretty easy to see from a lot of the town (and it's next to the sea, which is again, pretty noticeable)

There is a lot of parking, although you may have to pay. The traffic wardens are keen, it's not worth risking getting a ticket, they are fairly cheap though and in a car ful would probably cost you only 2 quid each for most of the day)

BY BOAT

Anyone's guess really, sure you can park it somewhere, just aim for the big headland. Probs not the best method
